• Aug. 15, 2025, 11:30 a.m. -- KelseyH~Macaw Ruby~Did a training session that turned into a 20 minute "keeper talk" so I thought I should document it.
• Aug. 4, 2025, 10:45 a.m. -- KelseyH~Macaw Ruby~We went to the outdoor classroom. She did really well once the kids were seated.
• July 29, 2025, 10:45 a.m. -- KelseyH~Macaw Ruby~We went and met the camp at the outdoor classroom behind the hayshed. She did a great job! No issues going, during, or returning.
• July 21, 2025, 10:45 a.m. -- KelseyH~Macaw Ruby~Ruby flew off t-perch on the way and way back from classroom. Likely due to construction. No other no signs and participated great in class.
• July 8, 2025, 1:10 p.m. -- KelseyH~Macaw Ruby~Took her a while to want to leave the keeper breakroom. We took her to the camp lunchroom. She was a bit distracted by the windows, but did well otherwise.
• July 7, 2025, 1:40 p.m. -- KelseyH~Macaw Ruby~She stayed in the exhibit, and we conducted training for a summer camp that way, discussing her.
• July 1, 2025, 10:40 a.m. -- KelseyH~Macaw Ruby~She was a rockstar for a 5-year-old camp group!
• June 26, 2025, 9:30 a.m. -- KelseyH~Macaw Ruby~Ruby went to visit a camp in the Science Theater. She had so much fun, she didn't want to go home!
• June 23, 2025, 10:40 a.m. -- KelseyH~Macaw Ruby~Went to ELL for a camp visit. She did amazing! KH
• June 17, 2025, 1:40 p.m. -- KelseyH~Macaw Ruby~Went to a camp. Will approach it differently next time. She did well, but it could have been a better setup for her.

• May 1, 2025, 12:05 p.m. -- DarcieH~Macaw Ruby~Darcie took lead on this program to trouble shoot Ruby's earlier behavior. Ruby did well and then went to lunch. KH took away new things to try next time to make sure Ruby is comfortable.
• May 1, 2025, 11:05 a.m. -- KelseyH~Macaw Ruby~Ruby said yes initially, but flew off the t-perch near the husbandry building and showed no signs so she was taken home.
• April 24, 2025, 10:10 a.m. -- KelseyH~Macaw Ruby~Did a couple of behaviors and then asked her to step up, she refused and took a step back. She did not go to program and showed a little aggression.
• April 23, 2025, 10:10 a.m. -- KelseyH~Macaw Ruby~Ruby said yes quickly and went to program. She did not want to leave but stepped up pretty quickly once I moved her stand to the side.

• March 20, 2025, 10:30 a.m. -- KelseyH~Macaw Ruby~30 minute program in SciPlay Bay. She did fantastic the whole time and spent the last 10 minutes having a dance party. She stepped up on the t-perch and back to the perch 4 times in program. No problems getting her to go home. Did take her outside to take her home instead of the building. Used a mix of sunflower seeds and a few larger chuck nuts to reinforce and then she got a whole peanut when she got home.
• March 18, 2025, 10:20 a.m. -- KelseyH~Macaw Ruby~Ruby made choices today. We had her out for a long time as she would not go on the T-perch to leave the program area. Had Carolyn come and help troubleshoot. Then took her the long way home to see if a walk would be reinforcing.
